The Musician Leicester

1st one in awhile
    1st one in awhile

Sooo, it’s been awhile since iv’e played live. The last gig was Sept 2017 playing support to “Republica” and the night rocked. Great sound, lighting and projection showing the full impact of my vision for the “X OVER” Ep so what next?. Producer Shotty 4HF has been working hard at putting together some songs of mine to be added to that Ep and ready for download soon (I’ll keep you posted) again V left of centre but I love it.
Back to the live thing… I did this festival last year and it’s great fun. A whole day of various artists playing live and different genres and a real familiy day + it’s free. If this weather holds up it will be a stonker!!!

Detail from the Musician website:
In the summer of 2015 the paths of Findley and Shotty were destined to cross.
Findley, recently returned from a trip to LA where she’d met up with Marcella Detroit, who was on the hunt for a dance producer. Marcella was working on a drum and bass re-mix of Shakespeare’s Sister hit ‘Stay’ and when Findley landed back in the UK she had ideas of her own for the track. With Marcella’s encouragement to “give it a go yourself”, Findley decided to track down Shotty, the producer who was a rising star on the dance scene.
The collaboration on their ‘Stay’ re-mix moved onto working together on new material. The first results of that collaboration is “X OVER” an EP of exciting, innovative and dramatic music; music that needs a live audience and with its epic feel could be at home on TV or in film.
Findley and Shotty launched the album with a refreshing and intimate live performance in front of an enthusiastic audience on June 4th at Harborough Theatre.
Her Music is an eclectic fusion of influences, reflecting her love of music – rock, pop, alternative and retro. Great lyrics and outstanding vocal harmonies have seen her likened in style to Texas. Annie Lennox and KD Lang.
Following the independent release of the acclaimed album “KISS MY TIARA”, Findley played solo at venues across the UK and London – The Borderline, The Cobden Club, 100 Club, The Bedford Balham, The Half Moon Putney, Bar Fly, The Purple Turtle Camden.
Joining forces with Girls With Guitars & Song Birds, she played support to Bill Wyman (Rolling Stones) & The Rhythm Kings, Roy Harper, Tony-Joe-White, Dennis Locorriere (Dr. Hook) Dr and The Medics to name but a few, and recently The Pig & Whistle (West Hollywood) El Sid (Sunset Boulevard ) and The Silver Lake Lounge (Silver Lake L.A.)
Recently played on BBC Introducing
Whether she is performing original material or well known classic’s, on stage is where Findley shines.
